Read alouds that can incorporate different yoga poses that the class can do together(note that almost any childhood book can be adapted to fun yoga poses, breathing techniques, and movements; be creative and allow students to invent their own poses!)

  7. Mouse Count– introducing the concept as quiet as a mouse for svasana

  9. The Little Old Lady Who Wasn’t Afraid of Anything– fall theme 

  10. My Many Colored Days– feelings themed – younger and older children as well; introduce children to open up and talk about their feelings in a safe community

  13. Commotion in the Ocean– different ocean animals.  Works well with an ocean theme unit or workshop
